The Board of Directors, at its regular meeting on Wednesday, August 7^th, determined to amend rules governing pre-execution discussion of GLOBEX transactions for Eurodollar option combinations, including combinations of Eurodollar futures and Eurodollar option positions. These amendments will become effective on September 1, 2002. The Board intends to review the results of this action in six months.
